Founded in 1987, the mission of Biothermica is to design and develop highly optimized solutions and projects for the control of air pollution and the reduction of methane emissions from landfill sites and underground coal mines.
Biothermica has completed more than $100 million in turn-key projects in the fields of gaseous pollutant emissions control (VOC, HAP, dioxins and furans, COC), landfill gas recovery and coal mine methane oxidation since 1987. These projects have generated annual reductions of more than two (2) million tonnes of CO2e greenhouse gas emissions (GHG).
